Me: “So I calculated it. It would only take about 400 people to get enough iron to forge a long sword.”

Friend:”What?”

Me: “You know. All these fantasy stories talk about swords ‘forged from the blood of your enemies’. Well, I calculated it out. If you drained the blood out of about 400 adult men and extracted the iron from it (provided none were anemic) – you would have enough iron to forge a long sword ‘from the blood of your enemies’.”
