Who am I? Well isn’t that the existential question. I am many things…
I have been a teacher, a student, a salesman, a customer, a son, a father, a husband, a bachelor, a performer, an audience, a patient, a caretaker, a comic, and a tragedian. All of which have formed who I am.
One thing I am most definitely NOT is perfect. I have made my share of mistakes. I continue to do so. I do my best to learn from them. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
I live my life by the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. If you are good to me, I am good to you. If you are cross with me, I won’t be cross back. Who wants to stoop to your level? I simply won’t have anything to do with you. I have people in my life that love me and want to be with me. Why waste precious time with those who think ill of you, for whatever reason.
Random bit of info…. I am a music buff. My specific tastes lean towards musical theater. Daily, sometime multiple times a day, people will say a random phrase to me and a song just pops into my head and I’m singing. I love it, but I think it annoys some of my friends.
Lastly, I want to leave you with a song lyric. One I’ve sung multiple times. And one that sticks with me. I leave it to you to find the song and give it a listen.
“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return”
